I was contacted by a Kiwicaker Leigh Bredenkamp today who wanted to tell me about the awesome efforts of her Grandaughter Skylar - what an awesome effort!. Leigh had this to say "just thought you may like to know that our granddaughter (Skylar) is a child ambassador for Purple Cake Day. She sold purple cupcakes at her school last Friday and raised $1,163.70 which was awesome! We bought purple products from you and used them to make over 500 cupcakes which we iced with butter cream icing and I mad a purple butterflies out of your purple fondant and painted them with edible gold and silver to make a lovely treat for all the girls. I thought you make like to see a photo of the finished products. Skylar is the blond girl pictured with her uncle Andrew and her friend in front of the tables containing the MANY cupcakes!"
