It's like a blind date sometimes, having my little Coco Cake cake business.... ! Who are these mysterious characters who send me emails and leave me voicemails, inquiring about cupcakes for this party, a cake for this event...?
Michelle emailed me about half a year ago to order cupcakes and a cutting cake for her August wedding out at Swan E Set deep in the gorgeous, mountainous farmland (yep!) of Pitt Meadows here in British Columbia, Canada. Yes, you really can go from farm to ocean to mountain (to mega-mall!) all in one day here!
Many email exchanges later, Michelle decided what she wanted, and was very specific with colours, cupcake liners and the look and feel of the whole order. So when I finally met Michelle, and saw how delighted she was with her tower of lovingly rendered cupcakes and mini cutting cake with matching fancy ribbon, it was a little joy in Coco Cake's heart!
