It's one of the most basic parts of cake decorating. Getting the icing on the cake... and keeping the crumbs off. It could be one of the hardest thing to get at first, but it all comes down to three things:
- Cake preparation
- Icing consistency
- Technique
What You Need
Cake, baked and cooled completely.
Thin consistency icing
Spreading spatula, preferably offset
Optional:
-Turntable
