A look back at the year and the most popular posts of 2016!
Guys, this year has been one helluva a year. If you've been following me for any length of time, I'm sure you noticed my blog posts were very sporadic this year ... with some months not having many posts at all. I've been mostly silent on my struggles this year ... and you may not realize that 2016 has tested me emotionally, physically, spiritually, and just about any other way a human can be tested.
I'm ready to put 2016 behind me and I am so excited for what 2017 has in store! Without you, I would just be talking to myself 😂.... I'm so glad to have you along on the journey! I can't thank y'all enough for your support throughout these four (almost five!) years of blogging. It seems like just yesterday I pushed that publish button for the first time! Thank you for following me on social media, thank you for reading my blog posts, and whether you realize it or not, thank you for encouraging me to keep moving forward in this blogging journey, even though at times, it has been very slowly moving forward.
I started this blog back in February of 2012 as a way to connect with people who loved cooking, baking, and recipes just as much as I do. I'm the weirdo who "reads" cookbooks like a novel. In this blogging thing, I have found a community so much greater than I could have ever imagined. Because of you, I wake up every day thankful that I get to share what I love to do and I am given the chance to meet some of the most awesome people from around the world! I have always been thankful for this opportunity and community and I hope that 2017 has a lot of awesome things in store for all of us.

Not only is it super easy to make, but it tastes great and I love knowing that I am giving my family a great start to their day!
As 2016 comes to an end, I really want to improve on making mornings great in 2017 - and I'm thinking maybe I should share some of the other creative overnight oatmeal recipes that my family enjoys! Since this recipe was the 7th most popular recipe on the blog, I feel like y'all love these kinds of recipes just as much as we do!
