Hi all! It's Emily again, from Nap-Time Creations... I'm excited to be here today... Happy Friday!
No, those aren't bugs in my broccoli! They are black sesame seeds and this garlic broccoli salad is SO flavorful. A mix of Asian flavors and broccoli salad, this is a favorite of mine. The broccoli is actually cooked al dente by the hot oil, but you eat it chilled. You could also serve warm over rice, but we've usually eaten it as a cold salad.
I've also made it with regular sesame seeds... the flavor is the same, I jut tried black this time to mix is up.. and I'm not sure if I like it... it looks a little buggy {ha!} This salad whips up in about 10 minutes, chill for an hour and serve up this delicious garlic broccoli salad. It's a very flavorful and fresh salad, you won't be disappointed!
